PRATHAM FOUNDATION

ABOUT THE PARTNER
Established in 1995, Pratham is an innovative learning organization created to improve the quality of education in India. As one of the largest non-governmental organizations in the country, Pratham focuses on high-quality, low-cost, and replicable interventions to address gaps in the education system.
NATURE OF COLLABORATION
Dani Sports Foundation partners with Pratham Education Foundation to strengthen school and community-based sports programs. Together, we create structured sports nurseries, introduce fitness routines in schools, and train fellows and volunteers to drive participation, talent identification, and leadership through sport.

AMBUJA FOUNDATION

ABOUT THE PARTNER
​The Ambuja Foundation (AF), CSR arm of Ambuja Cements, has been working for decades across rural India to enable sustainable and inclusive development. Its focus on holistic physical education and sports for development makes it a strong community anchor for building active, aware, and empowered children.
NATURE OF COLLABORATION
Dani Sports Foundation (DSF) partners with AF to strengthen physical literacy, socio-emotional learning, and structured sports engagement across multiple districts in five states — Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Chhattisgarh.

DSF leads the design and delivery of training modules, monitoring systems, and assessment frameworks.

Together we run in-school and after-school programs that build foundational skills and empower teachers, volunteers, and grassroots coaches.

Joint programming includes teacher/volunteer training, baseline & endline assessments, monitoring visits, and events like Khel Mela and Khel Utsav.

Special attention is given to girl participation, improving attendance through sport, and talent identification.

PIRAMAL FOUNDATION

ABOUT THE PARTNER
Piramal Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Piramal Group, drives innovation in education, healthcare, and social sector transformation. It works closely with government systems to strengthen leadership and foster inclusive development, especially in Aspirational Districts.
NATURE OF COLLABORATION
DSF partnered with Piramal Foundation to embed structured physical education in government schools across 23 Aspirational Districts in Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.

Founded in 2003 with just 32 students, MECT now supports 830+ tribal children in Gujarat, 57% of them girls, many from orphaned or single-parent households. The trust provides academic, emotional, and residential care in a nurturing environment.

BRAHMAPUTRA VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE

ABOUT THE PARTNER
Launched in 2020 by Abhijit Bhattacharya, former Indian volleyball captain, the BVL is a unique grassroots initiative engaging 4,800+ children annually across 32 districts of Assam. Recognised by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), it is a model for inclusive, community-rooted sports.
NATURE OF COLLABORATION
Dani Sports Foundation serves as the knowledge and technical partner to the BVL, supporting the design and strengthening of its operational systems, training frameworks, and monitoring mechanisms. From coach capacity building and grassroots innovation to curriculum refinement and leadership development, DSF’s role is to help build robust back-end systems that ensure quality, consistency, and sustainability as the league scales.

Our collaboration also focuses on documenting impact, amplifying success stories, and supporting BVL’s long-term vision of becoming a replicable and recognised model for grassroots sports across India.

As part of its collaboration with Dani Sports Foundation, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence has nominated eight participants to join the High Performance Coach Development Program (HPCDP). The program equips coaches with advanced knowledge, skills, and leadership abilities to raise the standards of coaching in India.
